행8장
(* 행8:1-4 절은 행1:8 절의 부활하시고 승천하시기 직전
예수님께서 사도들에게 하신 약속의 말씀이 너무나도 정확히 그대로 이루어져 가고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 교회의 핍박이 결과적으로 그 약속의 말씀이 그대로 이루어져 가는 기회가 되기도 한 것이다.
또한 스데반 집사의 증언을 통해서와 같이 빌립 집사의 증언을 통해서도 초대교회의 사도들이 무엇을 가르치고 전하였는지를 알 수도 있다. 초대교회에서 무엇을 전하고 증언하였는가를 알 수 있다는 것이다. 그렇다면 오늘의 교회가 무엇을 전해야 하는지를 알 수 있을 것이다.)
행8:
1 사울이 그의 죽임 당함을 마땅히 여기더라 그 날에 예루살렘에 있는 교회에 큰 핍박이 나서 사도 외에는 다 유대와 사마리아 모든 땅으로 흩어지니라
1 And Saul was there, /giving approval to his death./ On that day/ a great persecution broke out /against the church /at Jerusalem, /and all except the apostles /were scattered/ throughout Judea and Samaria.
2 경건한 사람들이 스데반을 장사하고 위하여 크게 울더라
2 Godly men buried Stephen /and mourned deeply for him.
3 사울이 교회를 잔멸할새 각 집에 들어가 남녀를 끌어다가 옥에 넘기니라
3 But Saul began to destroy the church./ Going from house to house,/ he dragged off men /and women /and put them in prison.
4 그 흩어진 사람들이 두루 다니며 복음의 말씀을 전할새
4 Those who had been scattered /preached the word /wherever they went.
( * 행1: 8절의 말씀이 교회의 박해를 통해 오히려 정확히 그대로 이루어지고 있는 것을 볼 수 있다.)
5 빌립이 사마리아 성에 내려가 그리스도를 백성에게 전파하니
5 Philip went down /to a city /in Samaria /and proclaimed the Christ there.
6 무리가 빌립의 말도 듣고 행하는 표적도 보고 일심으로 그의 말하는 것을 좇더라
6 When the crowds heard Philip /and saw the miraculous signs /he did, /they all paid close attention to /what he said.
7 많은 사람에게 붙었던 더러운 귀신들이 크게 소리를 지르며 나가고 또 많은 중풍병자와 앉은뱅이가 나으니
7 With shrieks,/ evil spirits came out of many,/ and many paralytics and cripples/ were healed.
8 그 성에 큰 기쁨이 있더라
8 So there was great joy /in that city.
9 그 성에 시몬이라 하는 사람이 전부터 있어 마술을 행하여 사마리아 백성을 놀라게 하며 자칭 큰 자라 하니
9 Now/ for some time /a man named Simon /had practiced sorcery/ in the city /and amazed all the people of Samaria. /He boasted /that he was someone great,
10 낮은 사람부터 높은 사람까지 다 청종하여 가로되 이 사람은 크다 일컫는 하나님의 능력이라 하더라
10 and all the people,/ both high and low, /gave him their attention /and exclaimed, /"This man is the divine power/ known as the Great Power."
11 오랫동안 그 마술에 놀랐으므로 저희가 청종하더니
11 They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his magic.
(* 애굽에서 모세와 아론의 지팡이가 뱀이 되고 뱀이 지팡이가 되게 하는 표적을 보고 애굽의 술사들이 이것을 행하였던 것이 연상되는 내용이다. 출7:8-13)
12 빌립이 하나님 나라와 및 예수 그리스도의 이름에 관하여 전도함을 저희가 믿고 남녀가 다 세례를 받으니
12 But when they believed Philip /as he preached the good news /of the kingdom of God /and the name of Jesus Christ, /they were baptized, /both men and women.
(* 초대교회의 전파의 내용은 하나님의 나라와 예수 그리스도 즉 예수님이 구약에 약속된 그 메시야 그 그리스도 이심을 증언하고 있다. 하나님의 나라 란 세상 나라가 아닌 하나님의 영적 세계를 증언하는 것을 알 수 있다. 그것은 사도행전의 마지막 장 마지막 절을 통해서도 알 수 있다. 그렇다면 이러한 복음의 내용을 오늘의 교회가 전해야 하는 것을 알 수 있다. 행28:31 절은 사도행전 마지막 장 마지막 절이다. 그 내용은 지금도 교회를 통해서 계속되어야 할 것이다. 그것은 주님의 명령이었다. )
13 시몬도 믿고 세례를 받은 후에 전심으로 빌립을 따라 다니며 그 나타나는 표적과 큰 능력을 보고 놀라니라
13 Simon himself believed /and was baptized. /And he followed Philip everywhere,/ astonished /by the great signs and miracles/ he saw.
(* 초대교회는 표적과 큰 능력이 하나님에 의해 증거된 것이다. 초대교회는 표적과 큰 능력이 더욱 왕성한 이유가 있는 것이다. 이것은 복음의 내용보다도 복음의 사실성을 복음이 진리임을 확증해 주시는 것이다. 이러한 표적은 어떤 지역의 복음 전파의 초기에, 예수 믿은 초기에 오히려 더 볼 수도 있다. 보이지 않으신 영이신 하나님의 살아계심과 그 능력을 보이는 살아계심의 표시가 되는 기적을 통해서 증거해 주시는 것이다. 행28: , )

17 믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 저희가 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며
18 뱀을 집으며 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며 병든 사람에게 손을 얹은즉 나으리라 하시더라
17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."/
(* 행 8장에는 베드로가 주님께 기도하므로 병든 자를 고치고 심지어 죽은 자를 살리는 일까지 있었다. 이것은 표적 즉 예수님이 하나님이 육신으로 오시고 지금은 그의 성령으로 함께 하시고 역사하신다는 표시가 되는 기적이라는 것이다. 이러한 방법이 아니고는 보이지 않는 하나님을 예수님의 복음의 증거가 너무나 어려울 것이다. 그러나 함께 역사하신 것을 보여주신 것이다. 다음은 마가복음 마지막 장 마지막 절이다.

20 제자들이 나가 두루 전파할새 주께서 함께 역사하사 그 따르는 표적으로 말씀을 확실히 증거하시니라)
20 Then the disciples went out /and preached everywhere,/ and the Lord worked /with them /and confirmed his word /by the signs /that accompanied it.)
(* 표적,, 원) 헬, 세메이온 ,, 기적’, 표적, 표시, 이적 , sign, miracle, wonder, token , mark / 확신시키는 확증하는 증명하는 표)
행8:
14 예루살렘에 있는 사도들이 사마리아도 하나님의 말씀을 받았다 함을 듣고 베드로와 요한을 보내매
14 When the apostles in Jerusalem /heard /that Samaria had accepted the word of God,/ they sent Peter /and John to them.
15 그들이 내려가서 저희를 위하여 성령받기를 기도하니
15 When they arrived,/ they prayed for them /that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
16 이는 아직 한 사람에게도 성령 내리신 일이 없고 오직 주 예수의 이름으로 세례만 받을 뿐이러라
16 because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon /any of them; /they had simply been baptized /into the name of the Lord Jesus.
17 이에 두 사도가 저희에게 안수하매 성령을 받는지라
17 Then Peter and John placed their hands /on them,/ and they received the Holy Spirit.
18 시몬이 사도들의 안수함으로 성령받는 것을 보고 돈을 드려
18 When Simon saw /that the Spirit was given /at the laying on /of the apostles' hands, /he offered them money
19 가로되 이 권능을 내게도 주어 누구든지 내가 안수하는 사람은 성령을 받게 하여 주소서 하니
19 and said, /"Give me also this ability /so that everyone /on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit."
20 베드로가 가로되 네가 하나님의 선물을 돈 주고 살 줄로 생각하였으니 네 은과 네가 함께 망할지어다
20 Peter answered: /"May your money perish with you, /because you thought /you could buy /the gift of God /with money!
21 하나님 앞에서 네 마음이 바르지 못하니 이 도에는 네가 관계도 없고 분깃 될 것도 없느니라
21 You have no part or share /in this ministry, /because your heart is not right /before God.
22 그러므로 너의 이 악함을 회개하고 주께 기도하라 혹 마음에 품은 것을 사하여 주시리라
22 Repent /of this wickedness /and pray to the Lord./ Perhaps /he will forgive you /for having such a thought/ in your heart.
23 내가 보니 너는 악독이 가득하며 불의에 매인 바 되었도다
23 For /I see /that you are full of bitterness /and captive to sin."
24 시몬이 대답하여 가로되 나를 위하여 주께 기도하여 말한 것이 하나도 내게 임하지 말게 하소서 하니라
24 Then Simon answered, /"Pray to the Lord /for me /so that nothing you have said /may happen to me."
25 두 사도가 주의 말씀을 증거하여 말한 후 예루살렘으로 돌아갈새 사마리아인의 여러 촌에서 복음을 전하니라
25 When they had testified /and proclaimed /the word of the Lord, /Peter and John returned /to Jerusalem, /preaching the gospel /in many Samaritan villages.
26 주의 사자가 빌립더러 일러 가로되 일어나서 남으로 향하여 예루살렘에서 가사로 내려가는 길까지 가라 하니 그 길은 광야라
26 Now /an angel of the Lord/ said to Philip,/ "Go south to the road--/the desert road--/ that goes down /from Jerusalem to Gaza."
27 일어나 가서 보니 에디오피아 사람 곧 에디오피아 여왕 간다게의 모든 국고를 맡은 큰 권세가 있는 내시가 예배하러 예루살렘에 왔다가
27 So he started out, /and on his way /he met an Ethiopian eunuch,/ an important official /in charge of /all the treasury of Candace,/ queen of the Ethiopians./ This man had gone /to Jerusalem /to worship,
28 돌아가는데 병거를 타고 선지자 아사야의 글을 읽더라
28 and on his way /home was sitting /in his chariot/ reading the book /of Isaiah the prophet.
29 성령이 빌립더러 이르시되 이 병거로 가까이 나아가라 하시거늘
29 The Spirit told Philip,/ "Go to that chariot /and stay near it."
30 빌립이 달려가서 선지자 이사야의 글 읽는 것을 듣고 말하되 읽는 것을 깨닫느뇨
30 Then Philip ran up /to the chariot /and heard /the man reading Isaiah the prophet./ "Do you understand /what you are reading?" /Philip asked.
31 대답하되 지도하는 사람이 없으니 어찌 깨달을 수 있느뇨 하고 빌립을 청하여 병거에 올라 같이 앉으라 하니라
31 "How can I," /he said,/ "unless someone explains it to me?"/ So he invited Philip /to come up /and sit with him.
32 읽는 성경 귀절은 이것이니 일렀으되 저가 사지로 가는 양과 같이 끌리었고 털 깎는 자 앞에 있는 어린 양의 잠잠함과 같이 그 입을 열지 아니하였도다
32 The eunuch was reading this passage /of Scripture:/ "He was led like a sheep /to the slaughter, /and as a lamb / before the shearer/ is silent, /so he did not open his mouth.
(*그 입을 열지 아니하였도다, so he did not open his mouth: 이러한 세밀한 부분까지 예언되어 있다는 것이 놀랍다.)
33 낮을 때에 공변된 판단을 받지 못하였으니 누가 가히 그 세대를 말하리요 그 생명이 땅에서 빼앗김이로다 하였거늘
33 In his humiliation / he was deprived of justice./ Who can speak /of his descendants?/ For his life was taken /from the earth.")
(* 그 생명이 땅에서 빼앗김이로다. For his life was taken /from the earth.: 이러한 메시야의 내용은 처음 읽은 사람들에게 의문점 중에 하나일 것이다. 그래서 빌립에게 물은 것이다.)
34 내시가 빌립더러 말하되 청컨대 묻노니 선지자가 이 말 한 것이 누구를 가리킴이뇨 자기를 가리킴이뇨 타인을 가리킴이뇨
34 The eunuch asked Philip,/ "Tell me, /please,/ who is the prophet /talking about, /himself /or someone else?"
(* 사 53장의 ‘그’ 는 누구를 가리키는 것일까요. 유대인들은 사53장을 해석할 수가 없어 이 장을 건너뛴다는 이야기도 있다. 고난받으시고 상하시고 찔리시고 채찍에 맞으시고 대속의 죽음을 죽으시고 부활하시고 그의 성령으로 교회를 세우신 분은 정확히 예수님인 것을 알 수 있다. 사53장의 예언은 마치 예수님에게 일어난 일을 보고 기록한 것 같은 내용으로 세밀한 부분까지 예언되어 있는 것이다.)
(* 이사야서는 특별히 메시야 예언, 고난받으신 메시야의 약속이 많고 신약에서도 가장 많이 인용되는 것을 볼 수 있다. 사7:14, 9: , 11: 40: ,53: , 61:1-2 , 눅4:18-21)
35 빌립이 입을 열어 이 글에서 시작하여 예수를 가르쳐 복음을 전하니
35 Then Philip began /with that very passage /of Scripture /and told him /the good news /about Jesus.
36 길 가다가 물 있는 곳에 이르러 내시가 말하되 보라 물이 있으니 내가 세례를 받음에 무슨 거리낌이 있느뇨
36 As they traveled along the road,/ they came to some water /and the eunuch said, /"Look, /here is water./ Why shouldn't I be baptized?"

38 이에 명하여 병거를 머물고 빌립과 내시가 둘 다 물에 내려가 빌립이 세례를 주고
38 And he gave orders /to stop /the chariot./ Then/ both Philip and the eunuch /went down into the water /and Philip baptized him.
39 둘이 물에서 올라갈새 주의 영이 빌립을 이끌어 간지라 내시는 혼연히 길을 가므로 그를 다시 보지 못하니라
39 When they came up /out of the water,/ the Spirit of the Lord suddenly /took Philip away,/ and the eunuch did not see him /again, /but went on his way /rejoicing.
40 빌립은 아소도에 나타나 여러 성을 지나 다니며 복음을 전하고 가이사랴에 이르니라
40 Philip, /however, /appeared at Azotus /and traveled about,/ preaching the gospel /in all the towns / until he reached Caesarea.

38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.
39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.
40 Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.
