1. 갈릴리 가나에서 처음 표적
(요2:
1 사흘 되던 날에 갈릴리 가나에 혼인이 있어 예수의 어머니도 거기 계시고
2 예수와 그 제자들도 혼인에 청함을 받았더니
1 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there,
2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
(* 예수님은 인생사 어떤 일상사 또는 잔치에 초청하면 거기에 응하신 것을 알 수 있다. 그리고 그곳의 어려운 상황에서 표적을 보여주시고 문제를 해결해 주시고 부족함을 풍족함과 더 좋은 것을 주셨다. 인생의 문제 속에서도 예수님을 초청해야 함을 알 수 있다.)

3 포도주가 모자란지라 예수의 어머니가 예수에게 이르되 저희에게 포도주가 없다 하니
4 예수께서 가라사대 여자여 나와 무슨 상관이 있나이까 내 때가 아직 이르지 못하였나이다
3 When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."
4 "Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied. "My time has not yet come."
(* 예수님은 이 땅에 부족한 포도주 채우러 오신 것은 아니었다. 그럼에도 일상의 문제들을 초자연적인 기적으로 해결해 주셨다. 그것은 목적이 아니라 표적이었다. 예수님께서 누구이신가를 알게 해주시는 표적을 보여주셨다.)
5 그 어머니가 하인들에게 이르되 너희에게 무슨 말씀을 하시든지 그대로 하라 하니라
5 His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you.“
(* 인생들의 일상사에서 부족하고 난감한 상황에서 예수님이 말씀하신 그대로 순종 실행하므로 부족함이 채워지는 표적을 보여주신 것이다. 창1: 혼돈과 공허의 상황에서 말씀하시매 그대로 되어 하나님이 보시기에 좋았더라의 내용을 압축적으로 실제적으로 보여주셨다.)
6 거기 유대인의 결례를 따라 두 세 통 드는 돌항아리 여섯이 놓였는지라
6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.

7 예수께서 저희에게 이르시되 항아리에 물을 채우라 하신즉 아구까지 채우니
8 이제는 떠서 연회장에게 갖다 주라 하시매 갖다 주었더니
7 Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.
8 Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so,

9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside

10 말하되 사람마다 먼저 좋은 포도주를 내고 취한 후에 낮은 것을 내거늘 그대는 지금까지 좋은 포도주를 두었도다 하니라
10 and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."
(* 갑자기 예상치 않는 문제 부족하고 어렵고 해결책이 보이지 않는 상황에서 예수님 거기 계시고 예수님 말씀하시고 그대로 할 때 더 좋은 것으로 부족함이 풍부함으로 바뀌게 된 것이다. 이 표적을 통하여 기적의 사건 그 이상의 표시가 되는 사인 그 의미를 보아야 할 것이다. 예수님은 누구이신가, 그 내용은 예수님에 대해서 무엇을 말하고 있는가, 무엇을 알 수 있는가, 이것이 갈릴리 가나에서 처음 표적이라고 하였다. 처음 표적이기에 더윽 그 의미를 보아야 할 것이다.)

13 유대인의 유월절이 가까운지라 예수께서 예루살렘으로 올라가셨더니

14 In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money.
15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

16 비둘기 파는 사람들에게 이르시되 이것을 여기서 가져가라 내 아버지의 집으로 장사하는 집을 만들지 말라 하시니

(* 비둘기 파는 사람들에게 이르시되 이것을 여기서 가져가라 / 어떤 분은 이 구절을 보고 예수님은 참 인도주의적인 분이라고 하며 크게 감동을 받았다는 것이다. 비둘기 집을 쏟거나 엎으시면 비둘기가 다 날아가 버려 비둘기 파는 사람들이 어떻게 하겠는가, 그런데 비둘기 파는 사람들에게는 이것을 가져가라고 하신 것에 예수님의 인도주의적인 모습에 크게 감동받았다는 것이다. 비둘기 파는 사람들에게 비둘기가 다 날아가 버리면 그들의 생업이 어떻게 되겠는가, 생각해 보면 그럴 수도 있겠다.)
17 제자들이 성경 말씀에 주의 전을 사모하는 열심이 나를 삼키리라 한 것을 기억하더라
17 His disciples remembered that it is written: "Zeal for your house will consume me.“

하나님께서 모세에게 보여주신 성막 설계도, 그 안에서의 제사,
하나님께선 그 성막에서 제사장을 만나고,
다윗이 성전 짓기를 열망하고 그 마음을 보시고 복에 복을 주신 하나님이었다.
예수님의 대속의 죽으심으로 성전의 휘장이 위에서부터 아래로 찢어진 이유가 무엇일까요,
그리고 오늘의 교인들은 하나님이 그의 영으로 거하시는 성전이 되었다.)

이러한 표현은 참 보기 보기 힘든 표현이다. 하나님의 모든 감동을 표현하는데는 언어의 한계가 있을 것이다. 그러한 때에는 시적이니 표현으로 어느 정도 잘 표현 할 수 있을 것이다.
주의 전을 사모하는 열심이 나를 삼키리라 한 것을 기억하더라)
18 이에 유대인들이 대답하여 예수께 말하기를 네가 이런 일을 행하니 무슨 표적을 우리에게 보이겠느뇨
18 Then the Jews demanded of him, "What miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?“

19 Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."
20 The Jews replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?“
