요 20장
1 안식 후 첫날 이른 아침 아직 어두울 때에 막달라 마리아가 무덤에 와서 돌이 무덤에서 옮겨 간 것을 보고
1 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.
(* the first day of the week . 안식 후 첫날 , 안식이리 다음 날 곧 일요일 이른 아침. 초대교회로부터 교인들은 예수님의 부활을 기념하여 이 날을 주의 날 주일로 부르며 함께 모여 예배하고 교제를 나누었다.
2 시몬 베드로와 예수의 사랑하시던 그 다른 제자에게 달려가서 말하되 사람이 주를 무덤에서 가져다가 어디 두었는지 우리가 알지 못하겠다 하니
3 베드로와 그 다른 제자가 나가서 무덤으로 갈새
4 둘이 같이 달음질하더니 그 다른 제자가 베드로보다 더 빨리 달아나서 먼저 무덤에 이르러
5 구푸려 세마포 놓인 것을 보았으나 들어가지는 아니하였더니
2 So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!"
3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.
4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.
5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in.
6 시몬 베드로도 따라와서 무덤에 들어가 보니 세마포가 놓였고
7 또 머리를 쌌던 수건은 세마포와 함께 놓이지 않고 딴 곳에 개켜 있더라
6 Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there,
7 as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus' head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.

머리에 쌌던 수건이 원래대로 놓여 있었다는 것은 예수님의 부활의 증거가 된다.)
8 그 때에야 무덤에 먼저 왔던 그 다른 제자도 들어가 보고 믿더라
9 (저희는 성경에 그가 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아나야 하리라 하신 말씀을 아직 알지 못하더라)
10 이에 두 제자가 자기 집으로 돌아가니라
8 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed.
9 (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
10 Then the disciples went back to their homes,
11 마리아는 무덤 밖에 서서 울고 있더니 울면서 구푸려 무덤 속을 들여다보니
12 흰 옷 입은 두 천사가 예수의 시체 뉘었던 곳에 하나는 머리 편에, 하나는 발 편에 앉았더라
13 천사들이 가로되 여자여 어찌하여 우느냐 가로되 사람이 내 주를 가져다가 어디 두었는지 내가 알지 못함이니이다
14 이 말을 하고 뒤로 돌이켜 예수의 서신 것을 보나 예수신 줄 알지 못하더라
11 but Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb
12 and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
13 They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?" "They have taken my Lord away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put him."
14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.
15 예수께서 가라사대 여자여 어찌하여 울며 누구를 찾느냐 하시니 마리아는 그가 동산지기인 줄로 알고 가로되 주여 당신이 옮겨 갔거든 어디 두었는지 내게 이르소서 그리하면 내가 가져가리이다
16 예수께서 마리아야 하시거늘 마리아가 돌이켜 히브리 말로 랍오니여 하니 (이는 선생님이라)
17 예수께서 이르시되 나를 만지지 말라 내가 아직 아버지께로 올라가지 못하였노라 너는 내 형제들에게 가서 이르되 내가 내 아버지 곧 너희 아버지, 내 하나님 곧 너희 하나님께로 올라간다 하라 하신대
15 "Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him."
16 Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher).
17 Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'“
(* Do not hold on to me (나를 만지지 말라 ) 이 말씀은 계속 붙잡지 말라는 뜻이다.
18 막달라 마리아가 가서 제자들에게 내가 주를 보았다 하고 또 주께서 자기에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다 이르니라
18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them that he had said these things to her.
(* 내가 주를 보았다. I have seen the Lord! / 부활하신 주님을 첫 번째로 만난 막달라 마리아의 증거이다.)
19 이 날 곧 안식 후 첫날 저녁 때에 제자들이 유대인들을 두려워하여 모인 곳에 문들을 닫았더니 예수께서 오사 가운데 서서 가라사대 너희에게 평강이 있을지어다
19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"
(* 모인 곳에 문을 닫았더니 예수께서 오사,
원문으로 보면 문을 닫아 잠겨저 있는 것이다. 그런데 어떻게 들어오실 수 있다는 말인가, 예수님이 문을 두드리니 제자들이 문을 열어준 것도 아니다. 그런데 놀라운 초자연적 부활 후의 예수님의 모습은 영체의 모습으로 시간과 공간을 초월하셨던 모습들도 본다.
어떤 과학 영화를 보니 막힌 벽을 통과하는 어떠 사차원 과학 영화를 본적이 있다. 어떤 전자키로 막힌 담 넘어에서도 작동이 되는 것을 본다면 닫히고 잠긴 문을 통과한다는 것은 하나님에게는 어려운 일이 전혀 아닐 것이다. )
(* 제자들이 두려워하여 문을 닫고 모인 곳에 오셔서 하신 말씀은 무엇인가,
너희에게 평강이 있을지어다. 이 말씀은 참으로 감동적이다. 예수님께서는 모국어 히브리어로 샬롬이라고 하셨을 것이다. 그 샬롬 솨롬 이라는 히브리어를 헬라어로 에이레네로 번역을 한 것이다. 샬롬에는 너무나 풍부한 좋은 내용이 있다.
이 샬롬의 은혜가 각자에 맞춤형으로 임하기를 명한다면 얼마나 감격 감동 은혜인가, 그것은 교인들의 마음의 문을 열고 닫은 닫아 잠근 문을 열고 아멘으로 받아 그 말씀이 흐르게 하여야 할 것이다.
복이라는 히브리어 바라크 는 복 축복 송축 무릎을 꿇다,, 이다. 복은 하나님과의 언약의 교통안에서 계속 선순환되는 것을 알 수 있다. 평강의 명령이 임하기 위해서는 하나님은 복 주시고 사람들은 송축 찬양 예배로 응답하여 선순환 된다는 것것과 같다.)
(* 평강이 있을지어다는 부활 후 제자들을 처음 방문하였을 때 두번 그리고 일 주일 후에 다시 방문하셨을 때에도 평강이 있을 지어다라고 하셨다.
20 이 말씀을 하시고 손과 옆구리를 보이시니 제자들이 주를 보고 기뻐하더라
21 예수께서 또 가라사대 너희에게 평강이 있을지어다 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것같이 나도 너희를 보내노라
20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
21 Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."

23 If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."
24 열두 제자 중에 하나인 디두모라 하는 도마는 예수 오셨을 때에 함께 있지 아니한지라
25 다른 제자들이 그에게 이르되 우리가 주를 보았노라 하니 도마가 가로되 내가 그 손의 못자국을 보며 내 손가락을 그 못자국에 넣으며 내 손을 그 옆구리에 넣어 보지 않고는 믿지 아니하겠노라 하니라
24 Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came.
25 So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it.“
(* 예수님의 제자인 도마의 의심은 철저하였다. 믿지 못할 내용을 체면상 믿은 것은 아니었다.
철저한 증거,, 예수님의 제자임에도 많은 기적을 보았음에도 , 말씀으로 바람을 잔잔케, 죽은 자를 살리심을 보았음에도, 물위를 걸어오신 것을 보았음에도 ,,, 얼마나 철저한 자기의 이성을 믿은 것인가,,
1). 내가 그의 못 자국을 보며 Unless I see the nail marks in his hands( 이것으로 그치는 것이 아니다. 이 정도로 믿을 내가 아니다 하는 자세로,, and
2). 내 손가락을 그 못자국에 넣으며 and put my finger where the nails were,
/ 아직도 믿을 수 없었다. and
3). 내 손을 그 옆구리에 넣어 보지 않고는
믿지 아니하겠노라 하니라
and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it.“
(* 도스토옙스키는 가정 철저한 무신론자는 가장 철저한 유신론자에 가장 가까이에 와 있다고 하였다. 진짜를 가장 철저하게 의심한다면 가장 철저하게 진짜를 알 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로 진리를 찾기 위해서 정반합의 과정도 필요할 수 있을 것이다. )

26 여드레를 지나서 제자들이 다시 집 안에 있을 때에 도마도 함께 있고 문들이 닫혔는데 예수께서 오사 가운데 서서 가라사대 너희에게 평강이 있을지어다 하시고
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"
(* 여드레를 영어성경에는 A week later 라고 하였다. 그것은 날짜 계산법에 따라 유대식으로 또는 우리식으로의 차이일 것이다. 유대인들의 하루는 해가 떨어질 때부터 하루의 시작을 계산하는 것이라는 것이다.)
27 도마에게 이르시되 네 손가락을 이리 내밀어 내 손을 보고 네 손을 내밀어 내 옆구리에 넣어 보라 그리하고 믿음 없는 자가 되지 말고 믿는 자가 되라
27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."
28 도마가 대답하여 가로되 나의 주시며 나의 하나님이시니이다
29 예수께서 가라사대 너는 나를 본 고로 믿느냐 보지 못하고 믿는 자들은 복되도다 하시니라
28 Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
29 Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
(* 예수님을 나의 주 나의 하나님이라고 하는 것은
이제 드디어 도마의 고백이었고 신앙간증이었다. 이 신앙의 간증과 고백은 이 요한복음 기록한 요한의 고백이고 모든 교인의 고백이어야 할 것이다. 그것은 사실이 그러하기 때문이다. 진리이기 때문이다.)

주 (히브리어 아도나이. 헬라어 큐리오스 ,, 유대인들은 구약에서 여호와의 이름이 나오면 감히 소리내어 읽지를 못하고 부르지를 못하고 아도나이 ( 히, 주) 라고 하였다는 것이다. 그러므로 도마가 예수님을 나의 주(아도나이, 도마는 히브리어로 아도나이라고 하였을 것이다. 헬라어로 큐리오스로 번역하였지만,) 라고 하는 것은 나의 하나님이라고 부른 것과 같다.
예수님의 부활의 소식을 듣고도 믿지 못하고 철저하게 의심하였던
도마는 부활하신 예수님을 만나고 나의 주 나의 하나님이라고 하였던 것이다.)
(* 최근에 무슨 도마복음이라는 책이 발견되었다고 하는데 그것은 이러한 도마의 신앙고백과일치하지 않다면 예수님의 제자 도마가 썼다고 신뢰하기 어려울 것이다. 그리고 그것이 복음의 내용이라면 이제야 발견되었다는 것도 그렇다. 하나님께서는, 예수님께서는 성경 기록자를 준비하시고 기록하라 하시고 기록하게 하셨고 그리고 기록한 사람들이 성령의 감동으로 함께 하신 가운데 기록한 것임을 알아야 할 것이다.)
30 예수께서 제자들 앞에서 이 책에 기록되지 아니한 다른 표적도 많이 행하셨으나
31 오직 이것을 기록함은 너희로 예수께서 하나님의 아들 그리스도이심을 믿게 하려 함이요 또 너희로 믿고 그 이름을 힘입어 생명을 얻게 하려 함이니라
30 Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.
31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
(*사도 요한이 요한복음을 기록한 목적을 말하고 있다. 그렇다면 기록한 그 목적을 근거로 읽어야 올바르게 읽는 것이 될 것이다. 그리고 이해하고 깨닫고 생명을 얻고 더 풍성하게 얻을 수 있을 것이다.)
