Dear Rev. Bae Tae-Jin
Greetings from the NCC India,
The reported attack of North Korea on South Korean island of Yeonpyeong creates anxiety and worry in the minds of Peace Lovers and Peace Activists in the Asian region.
The National Council of Churches in India expresses its sympathy to the victims of the attack and condemns the attack and provocation of North Korea.
Please accept our Solidarity with the PROK and its members in all your peace initiatives and wish that your peace interventions bring peace in the Korean Peninsula.
We hope, pray and request the PROK, its members and Peace fora in Korea to prevail on the Government of South Korea to exercise caution and judicious judgment in responding to the attacks.
With Prayers and Solidarity
