Memorial service for Lutz Drescher
February 15, 2024, at 6 p.m. the ecumenical community gathered together at the NCCK building and held a Memorial Service in a hybrid platform (on-site and online).
“A life that gives light ” it was how many people remembered the impact of the late Mr. Lutz Dresher. He was from the Evangelical Mission in Solidarity (EMS), born and raised in Germany but his life was spent in the service of God by doing missions in different countries.
In his missionary journey, one of the most colorful and challenging was when he was a missionary worker in Korea- he spoke the Korean language and lived and worked in different churches and communities. The ecumenical community grieved together with his family – it was a great loss but a great triumph because the late Lutz lived a life that was almost similar to Jesus.
